Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the LectioDive app and website (“the Service”), provided by Foxxception LLC (“we,” “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

LectioDive provides daily Catholic Mass readings, the text of the Douay-Rheims Bible, study companions, and a personal journal. Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

A study aid, not official teaching

The study content in LectioDive is generated with the help of AI and is offered as a study aid. It is not official Church teaching. Always defer to your pastor, the Magisterium, and the cited documents themselves. Scripture text is from the public-domain Douay-Rheims Bible.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that happens under it. Provide accurate information when signing in. You may delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ data.
• Do not misuse or attempt to extract the Service’s content at scale.

Your content

Your journal entries are yours. We store them to provide the Service to you and do not claim ownership of them. You are responsible for the content you create.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Foxxception LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or change the Service from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We may suspend or end access to the Service where reasonably necessary.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Foxxception LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
