Privacy Policy

LectioDive (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Foxxception LLC. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We keep the app’s data footprint small on purpose.

Information we collect

• Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address so we can sign you in. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the email address or identifier that service provides. We do not use passwords.
• Your journal. Any reflections you write are stored privately and tied to your account. They are accessible only to you when signed in.
• Diagnostics. If the app crashes or hits an error, we collect technical diagnostic data to find and fix the problem. This may include device and operating-system information and details about the error. It is used to improve the app, not to identify you.

You can read the daily readings and the Bible without creating an account. Until you sign in, your journal is kept only on your device.

How we use information

• To provide the app and keep your account and journal working.
• To find, diagnose, and fix problems and improve the app.
• To protect the security and integrity of the service.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your information.
• We do not show advertising.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites for advertising.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run the app: database and hosting are provided by Neon and Cloudflare, and crash diagnostics are handled by Sentry. Study content is generated with Magisterium AI. These providers process data only to provide their service to us.

Scripture and study content

Scripture text is from the public-domain Douay-Rheims Bible. Study content is generated with Magisterium AI and cites its sources; it is a study aid, not official Church teaching.

Deleting your account and data

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data — including your journal entries — at any time from within the app, under Settings › Account › Delete account. Deletion cannot be undone.

Children

LectioDive is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here with a new date.
